LANSING, Mich. – Lansing Ignite FC talents Kevin Coiffic and Nick Moon have been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 26 of the 2019 regular season after helping LIFC extend its unbeaten streak to 12 matches.
Coiffic completed 85 of 94 passes, won seven of eight duels and recorded seven clearances, three interceptions and nine recoveries in Ignite FC’s 1-1 draw with Tormenta FC on Saturday, while Moon recorded the team's only goal, had four key passes and made three interceptions and seven recoveries.
Rafa Mentzingen, Pato Botello-Faz, Grant Stoneman and Tumi Moshobane are the only LIFC players to have earned Player of the Week honors in 2019, while ten Lansing players have received Team of the Week honors this regular season: Ivo Cerda, Stefan Cleveland, Elma Nfor, Xavier Gomez, Coiffic, Moon, Mentzingen, Botello-Faz, Moshobane and Stoneman.
