TORONTO – Lansing Ignite FC's unbeaten run came to an end on Saturday, as Toronto FC II came away with a 3-0 win at the BMO Training Ground in Toronto, Canada.
LIFC goalkeeper Stefan Cleveland made numerous saves throughout the 90 minutes of action, including a penalty-kick stop in the 52nd minute, but Shaan Hundal, Patrick Bunk-Andersen and Jordan Perruzza each scored for the home side to give TFC II all three points in the second meeting between the two teams.
Despite the loss, LIFC remains in the fourth and final playoff position in the USL League One standings with a 3-4-4 record. The team will look to bounce back against Greenville Triumph SC on June 15, which will be LIFC's final away game before a two-game homestand.
NICK MOON: The dynamic midfielder created three scoring chances and had one shot on target for LIFC. On the defensive end, he recorded two tackles, two blocked shots and one clearance.
