LANSING, Mich. – Lansing Ignite FC defender Kevin Coiffic has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 7 of the regular season.
Coiffic helped create the team's only goal, won 10 of 12 duels, recorded four recoveries and five clearances and completed 40 of 50 passes in Ignite FC’s draw with Greenville at Cooley Law School Stadium on Saturday.
The Frenchman becomes the fourth different LIFC player to be named to a Team of the Week this season, joining Xavier Gomez, Nick Moon and Grant Stoneman, who has earned the honors twice.
Saturday's result brought LIFC to an overall record of 4-3-2, with a League One record of 2-3-2. The club faces off against the USL Championship's Indy Eleven in the Second Round of the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at 7 p.m. ET from the Sellick Bowl on Wednesday and will return home on Saturday to face undefeated North Texas SC at 7 p.m. ET from Cooley Law School Stadium.
