LANSING, Mich. – Continuing to support and engage with local organizations within the community, Lansing Ignite FC has announced today a partnership with Delta Township Parks & Recreation. The Lansing-based organization joins Cap City Athletic 1847, Lansing Soccer Club, Soccer Kickers and Waverly Fùtbol Club as partners of the professional team.
Included in the partnership are a number of incentives, as well as unprecedented access to LIFC players, the coaching staff and club resources.
Delta Township’s Youth Soccer Programs run in the Spring (April – June) and in the Fall (August – October), for a total of 8 weeks. Its program is recreational in nature, introducing the basics of soccer while stressing fun. Coaches for the program are parent volunteers and referees are high school/college students. Training sessions for the programs volunteer coaches and referees are provided prior to every season.

Led by Head Coach Nate Miller, the youngest head coach across all U.S. professional soccer leagues (MLS, USL Championship and USL League One), Ignite FC has developed an exciting and tough identity on the field to start the season.
