TUCSON, Ariz. – Lansing Ignite FC turned in another strong performance on Tuesday evening, but FC Tucson earned the points with a 2-0 win at the Kino Sports Complex.
Devyn Jambga and Devin Vega scored the goals for the home side, but Lansing controlled play throughout most of the match.
LIFC recorded 66.4 percent possession throughout the match, had more shots on target (6) than Tucson (3) and completed more passes (610) than Tucson (310).
The team's best chances of the evening came nearly 70 minutes into the match, as Nick Moon and Tumi Moshobane attempted quality shots from long distance, but both were saved by Tucson goalkeeper Phillip Ejimadu.
Now 2-3-0 in USL League One play, Lansing will shift its focus to the next match, as the team prepares for the third and final regular season meeting against the Richmond Kickers on May 4.
NICK MOON: Moon caused many problems for Tucson working down the left wing on Tuesday night. He also combined well with his teammates, completing 81.6 percent of his passes.
